Aptamil® Feed Thickener is a premium, specialty thickening agent suitable for use with breast milk or infant formula. Thickened feeds may assist in the dietary management of regurgitation or mild reflux.

Product Description

Aptamil® Feed Thickener is designed to be used in combination with breast milk or infant formula and not as a sole source of nutrition.

It may be mixed with breast milk, standard infant formulas, or selected specialty formulas to help manage regurgitation. This product should always be used under medical supervision.

For breastfed infants:
Aptamil® Feed Thickener can be mixed with a small amount of cool boiled water or expressed breast milk and fed as a gel before, during, or immediately after breastfeeding. Alternatively, it can be blended with expressed breast milk to thicken the feed.

For formula-fed infants:
Aptamil® Feed Thickener can be added to standard or specialty infant formulas. If a thickened feed is required, Aptamil® Gold+ Reflux Infant Formula (which already contains a thickener) is recommended.

Important Notice

• Not a complete food and not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.

• Should only be used under medical supervision.

• Not suitable for premature infants.
